Golfer Working in Saudi Arabia to Play in the Southern California Charity Golf Classic

Tamara Tahir is working in Saudi Arabia, but will be in Southern California during the Summer. She came across our website online and entered.

Tamara went to high school in Claremont, but went to Texas for college and has been overseas teaching for years–currently in Saudi Arabia. She’s back in Claremont every summer and has been playing golf the last couple of years.

We care for an entire family, not just their sick child during the length of medical treatment.

A family’s income level is not a qualifying factor to determine if they are eligible.
Without love and encouragement, the disease can become the focus of their existence.

SCCGC to Raise Money for The Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.

Received these in the mail from the Wounded Warrior Project: 150 Flyers, 150 Brochures, 150 Lapel Pins, 150 Wristbands, 150 Magnets, and 150 Decals from the Wounded Warrior Project.

The first 150 participants in the Southern California Charity Golf Classic will receive one of each.

Danny Magic to Perform at the Southern California Charity Golf Classic

Dan specializes in close-up, sleight of hand magic. He was awarded first place at both IBM (ring 313) and Orange County magic’s annual close-up competition. Dan was also IBM (ring 313) magician of the year. Dan is a member at the world famous Magic Castle (Academy of Magical Arts) in Hollywood, CA

Danny Magic will be performing magic before, during and after the Southern California Golf Classic. He will also raffle off an auction item with the proceeds from his item being given to our participating charities.
